Saturday Morning we opened the tournament aganist a sister crew team that was very tough. We battled hard but were no match for there team chemistry. We dropped the opener, but, this only heightend our desire to play better and meet them in the finals. Our second game on Saturday was another battle to the finish. The Kingdom, strikers are a solid team, and gave us everything we could handle before we  toook control in the second half. Final score  2-0 Crew.

After the second game, our spirits were high, all we had to do on Sunday was tie or win and we were on to the finals !!!

Sunday morning came, along with a slow start. The team did not come to play and as a result we found our self trailing at the half. After a half time speech the team came out on fire and stuck three in the back of the net!!! With that win, we were in the finals

The finals turned out to be a rematch of our opening game. Both teams came to play. The first half was back and forth and we found ourselves trailing 2-0. Again, after a half time speech, we came out on fire, but it was not enough. We fell in the finals to a good (sister) crew team. With our heads held high, we marched to the podium and accepted the team (and Individual) trophy’s for the runner’s up.

All in all, as a coach I am proud of what the girls were able to accomplish!
