Girls U17 Gold Win MRL Division

Girls U17 Gold win out in Hebron IN and win their MRL division. They will play Premier MRL next fall. The players have still got CASL and the Disney College Showcase to look forward to this year.

Girls U17 MRL take the MI Challenge Cup U19 Division

August 16, 2011

U17 Girls MRL won their u19 division at the MI Challenge Cup this past weekend August 13-14 in Lansing. They had a good win in the 1st game going 4-0 against a decent U17 TNT team. The 2nd game was a hard fought 1-1 tie against TNT u18s, and then the players did a great job winning the final 2-0 against a u18 Bloomfield Force MRL team.

It was a great way to get all the new players aquainted to the team, well done girls. Coach Brown

Girls U17 MRL team at Illinois College Showcase

Our Girls U17 MRL team played in the the Inaugural Illinois Girls College Showcase in Naperville IL. It was an excellent tournament with great fields and they played good Premier opposition from IA, IL, MN and WI and with a lot of college coaches in attendance.

Despite the 97 degree temps, the team came away with 2 wins and 1 tie. It was a great way to get the summer and season started and with 5 new players on the team it was a great way to see them fit straight into the team. All players showed very well. - Coach Brown

Girls U16 '95 MRL Showcase Their Talent in Kansas

December 6, 2010

The U16 Girls MRL team attended the Challenger College Showcase in Overland Park, Kansas the weekend of December 4-5. The team played three very competitive games against teams from Iowa, Kansas and Colorado. "I could not ask any more from the players who braved the coldest conditons we have ever played in. The team came away 1-1-1 and played very well in artic conditions, but the plus side was that the opposition, refereeing and facilities were some of the best we have seen all over the country. The players got to showcase their talents in front of College coaches from the midwest and west. Great job by all players this weekend, and we look forward to our next showcase which is the Puma Region 3 tournament in Tennessee. "
