This is the time of year when we all look at our kid’s soccer equipment and realize they have (again!) grown out of much of it!  The Cleats for Kids program is a wonderful charity that needs your gently used soccer equipment for kids in the Grand Rapids area who are in need.  Please see the Crew website for more information  http://www.grcrewjuniors.org/home/391532.html

 

  • Always be 10-15 minutes early ready to practice with correct unifrom and correct ball/equipment. 
  • If you’re going to miss practice you need to email me or call me with the reason and which practice he will be missing. 
  • If you do miss a practice I would like you to attend the striker training on Friday nights.
  • Always take care of your own equipment and coaching and field equipment and leave the field as we find it (no trash).
  • Please make sure that in-between and before games that you eat healthy. We want to make sure that we’re giving our body the best possible chance to perform. You make the decisions as parents, please make smart choices before games and in-between as this can mean a big difference in performance and energy levels. 
  • Boys are required to always line up their bags at games in a nice straight line to be organized.
  • Shirts must always be tucked in and socks pulled up to dress and play smart.
  • Late for practice or games or events - you must call me or the team manager to let us know you’re late. This is very important to keep the communcation link alive. Discipline and communcation is essential to make sure we’re all on the same page. I will let all late arrivals this weekend at our tournament slide but from now lets be good communicators. 
  • Always make sure we have both shirts available in our bag at all times. This is needed to make sure we have alternative shirt just in case. 
  • Please let me know in advance and remind me of any games that you miss prior to the season starting. 
  • Please make smart choices with drinks and hydration - need to replace all those electrolyes after a game so drink gatorade. Need to hydrate during the games so please drink lots of water. 
  • All players must arrive 45 minutes prior to game start time to begin warm-up. This means ready to begin warm-up 45 minutes prior to kick-off. Remember, if your late, call me. 
  • Tournamnets - no swimming before or in-between games.
